Leaving AHS after this season?

I hear she is leaving American Horror Story after this season. If she does this, AHS is screwed! I really hope she reconsiders for my own personal selfish sake.

All the characters are pretty amazing in AHS but she's the ball socket that everything revolves around in that show.

Can you please post this another 10 times?

I'm hoping she'll reconsider. I think if Jessica Lange is offered another enticing role next season she may decide to stay on, at least let's hope.

I totally agree. We can't loose her she is the true star of ahs.

I'm worried *beep* of what it'll turn into, hoping it doesn't taint the previous seasons with her in it. The whole show revolves around her!

I don't blame her for leaving though, she planned on leaving after S1 but stayed because she saw we love her so much!

I don't think she will. It's one of the biggest tv shows in the world at the moment and had had an incredible run.

Also, as an actor - remaining on the same show yet playing different characters and being able to stretch your talents must be a dream for any actor. She's not confined creatively nor will she be defined as one character as most people who work long term on the same show, as she plays a different person each time.

It is common in showbiz for actors/entertainers to secretly leak their desire to leave a popular role before going into salary negotiations for the next year. This means they can ask for an increase in salary as they they're popular with audiences and the producers won't want to let them go.

I don't think she'll be going anywhere... Thankfully!

I believe you're wrong, for if you've followed Lange's career for the last thirty years, you'd know there's nothing common about her.

She's always gone against the grain and been very verbose against actor's pretentiousness and greed.

This is the woman who after receiving a double nomination, (only the forth at that time in Academy history), who could have done anything and named her price, choice not to work the year of her accolades and then the following year released Country.

She just doesn't care as she once said in interview, about all that bullzhit.

Then again, Ryan Murphy said he calls her everyday and begs and pleads, so perhaps he can persuade to do a few cameos.

If I wanted her life story I'd have looked her up myself, thanks. If you had bothered to read my post properly, I didn't say she was common, I said it is a common thing in the industry. It wasn't confirmation of anything, but merely my own opinion. Nothing more, nothing less.

Nope, I bothered myself to read you post in it's entirety and understood it exactly as you indented. Maybe you didn't read mine, but hey, if you ever want her life history, you'll know where to look.
