shareI've honestly never seen DK in anything other than Star Trek and TNG. Although the makeup made him almost unrecognizable in the TNG pilot.
share He was in an episode of Bonanza. Coincidentally he played a doctor! He was a doctor who was about to be hanged. He was falsely accused of being responsible for a patient's death. Of course Ben got him exonerated. He needed a doctor for a gravely wounded Hoss.
DeForest Kelly was a very private man. He was the only actor from the original series who didn't write a book about Star Trek or, thankfully a "tell all" book bashing William Shatner like some of the others did. A classy Southern gentleman
I've always thought the Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus looks an awful lot like DK, like he could be his son. Of course, Reedus always looks pretty disheveled while Kelley was well groomed. I mean, they don't look identical if I were to look at photos next to each other, but as soon as I saw Reedus I though of Kelley and it's never changed.
