shareActually, that had to have been two years ago. It was sudden, howeve, they were separated for a few years. That fact wasn't made public. We don't know the reason. It was just called irreconcilable differences. That lady on Dermot's arm is his girlfriend and the mother of his child (with a second on the way)

I guess I really don't get what Mulroney expected when he married an older woman and had a child with her when she was 40 years old. Seems like poor planning on his part, which leads me to believe having more children was not the sole reason for their divorce. However, I'd say age was a definite issue, not necessarily for childbearing issues.
