Simka or Lillian Kaushtupper?

Which character do you like better?

reply

Simka, because she was younger and hotter. I also liked her in Annie Hall, though she had a small role. Her new one Hunters is terrible.

reply

Neither. For me, it's Ghost of Christmas Present in Scrooged!

Also neither. I thought her Lupi in Transylvania 6-5000 (1985), was the best performance.

I just stumbled on this while looking for somewhere to post how wonderful Carol Kane was as Lupi again after reading the recent post in Scrooged... I guess I'd be repeating myself!

Lillian Dolomite Kaushtupper

I love Carol Kane in everything I have seen her in. "Taxi" was a little before my time, but I have seen a few episodes and immediately recognize the goddess Simka when she comes on screen. Ditton for "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt". Not a huge fan of the show and the only scenes that stand out to me are the scenes Carol Kane are in. I can't even remember the name of the redheaded lead of that show. A picture that no one talks about where she really dazzled is "Hester Street" where she played Gitl, a doting immigrant wife that follows her husband to America, only to be thrown under the bus by him, but she overcomes anyway.
