omg I seriously did not know she had an english accent. Cause rite now im watching Star Inside and there showing the making of With out a Trace and she comes on and talks and im like omg she has an accent. I have come here b4 and read her bio but I guess I never read where she was born or at the time I read her bio they didnt say where she was born. I know im about to stereotype but she seems like she is a person that just has the same voice she uses on the show. But I also did notice that Poppy kinda has an australian accent too but its hard to tell, if you listen carefully you might beable to hear it.

Yes she is British. And the annoying this is, they don't celebrate that fact in the UK.

Hi...

I TOTALLY agree with you... Marianne is very underrated and she should have gotten an Oscar. However, I'm thinking that besides race, the industry feels she does not have the right look. If she had big boobs, flowing hair and a delicate mousey look she'd win awards left and right of the coast! When will Hollywood realize the true issue of showbiz-- the TALENT?!?

I know it's ages since you wrote this.... yes we don't celebrate it in the UK... I had no idea she was until the advert I just saw on C4 with her talking. But then again, Without a Trace isn't huge over here. And you forget that the so-called celebrities in the UK tend to all be from reality TV (grrrrrrr) or equally rubbish TV programmes!

There are scores of Brits in American TV shows only a select few are celebrated in the UK such as Hugh Laurie, Michelle Ryan, Lena Headey.

Who knows about Jamie Bamber in Battlestar Gallactica? Lennie James in Jericho?

Respectfully, she's gorgeous and her boobs are awesome ;>. But yeah I get your point, the euro-look is favored outrageously. Her talent will get her along.
