watching the 1969 vietnam christmas special (aired jan 15/1969)

this was billed as world tour. bob started at the white house, berlin, thailand and then vietnam. bob acknowledges that the south vietnamese have taken over the war. he jokes that he thought all the americans had gone home.

the babes are connie stevens, romy schneider and teresa graves. neil armstrong got the biggest ovations of all. john mccain's father also made an appearance.

at the end bob makes a reference to the my lai massacre which was exposed in nov 1969. bob basically says don't be disturbed by it.
