There will be a fascinating film about Jean Harlow released in the US on 23rd October, 2019. It is entitled 'By Love Reclaimed: The Untold Story of Jean Harlow and Paul Bern.' It sounds as though it will attempt to throw light on Jean Harlow's mysterious death. Or will it deepen the mystery as I believe that reincarnation is part of the film's story. shareHer death has only recently intrigued me since I have heard this new film is being released. There are hints of conspiracy theories about her early death including suicide and murder and a blotched abortion which MGM may have covered up at the time.
Officially Jean Harlow died at the age of 26 of kidney failure. It was so sudden. She had been filming and then one day was taken ill on the set of 'Saratoga.' Una Merkel, who was also in the film, said that she had been looking pale and fatigued. Another part of the story is that Jean Harlow's mother was a Christian Scientist who would disapproved of medical intervention. So did Jean Harlow decline surgical treatment of some kind? I don't know about you but I think that the story is fascinating.
