I see him in the credits. As Jack. Who was Jack in the film?

reply

He's the one who calls Mark (Tatum) and asks him to meet John du Pont. You see him together with Mark in the helicopter as they arrive at the du Pont estate and when he gives Mark the keys to the guest house.

He's also in a few other scenes, but they don't amount to much screen time.

I hardly recognized him, seems like he's gained quite a lot of weight since 'The Dead Zone'.

Who are they? And what do they want?

Jack (Anthony Michael Hall) appeared to be John DuPont's aide/ man servant (if you will).
I remember Jack (Anthony Michael Hall) in one of the most pivotal & final jarring scenes in the film.....which was the shooting. Jack was riding in the passenger seat of John du Pont's car, while John du Pont drove toward David Schultz' residence.
David Schultz had been working on his vehicle, prior to the shooting. As John du Pont approached David Schultz, he began shooting at him. Jack first begs John to please stop....but then realizes that his pleas are falling upon deaf ears. Jack jumps out of the car when it looks like John might turn the gun on Jack. Jack then runs for cover & ducks off to the side.....as John Du Pont drives away....where Jack eventually makes his way over to David Schultz, to try to render assistance, while David's wife called for the police & an ambulance. But, alas....it was too late for David.

I too watched this film all the way through & then saw the credits roll & wondered where I missed Anthony Michael Hall's character. About a week later, the movie played again on HBO & I watched carefully all the way through. I finally figured out who his character was & realized why I missed him. He has aged quite considerably in the last 10 years since the Dead Zone, for whatever reason.

Anthony looks so very different from his days back on the Dead Zone. At least when he was on that show, back from 2002-2007 he still resembled that skinny kid that he was back in the 80's.....he'd just grown up a bit & filled out more. But now, he looks far more aged in the last 9-10 years since the Dead Zone was cancelled.
Even so, though he's aged a bit, I still think he is a beautiful man!
