Guest in Empire Strikes Back

Bit of a long shot but considering Guest was doing some bit parts through the 70s - recently I was watching the Blue Ray version of 'Empire Strikes Back' I was wondering if any of the IMDBers could check the scene where Han Solo asks C3PO about the whereabouts of Luke in the rebel base on Hoth. He then shouts over the deck officer to check further about Luke's status. This deck officer sounds like and looks like Christopher Guest. If it isn't him then some bit actor could make some money doing Nigel Tufnell appearences!

He's not in it as I recall, but John Ratzenberger who played Cliff in 'Cheers' is one of those guys. He may actually be the guy you're referring to.

I saw him in the stables just as Solo goes out on his search for Luke.

I think the guy who you think looks like Guest is in one of my favourite parts of the film. He tells Solo "your tauntaun will freeze, before you reach the first marker" Solo's response is a peach "then i'll see you in hell". Couple of small lines,,but i always have to say them when i watch the film.
