X-Files 2 - Create the Future Campaign! (Reyes)

Calling all Monica Reyes fans,

Create The Future http://community.livejournal.com/createthefuture/ is the mass fan letter writing campaign to get Fox to finally make XF2!.

So far the letter count is officially
170 (with more on the way) There are heaps of X-Files fans still around on the net so let's all get together and make it happen. Remember the more letters the better so spread the news around to your friends and to other message boards/fan communities.

Let me clue you into something, reyes and season 9 of the xfiles KILLED the franchise. I would rather remember the series for what it was than suffer through how it ended. if you thought season 9 warranted another xfiles movie then I question your taste.

I'm actually a Season 1-7 Mulder/Scully fan myself. I was extremely disappointed in Season 8 & 9 & I only own The Truth as (nothing personal against Doggett and Reyes) but the X-Files was about Mulder and Scully and their quest for the truth & the writers should have realised that. Movies are a chance to finish the story properly on a note Mulder and Scully deserve.

they should kill of Doggett and Reyes at the beganning of x-files 2. they sum up in mystery way why there were killed . then at the end of 2 to make a thrid movie, william is captures to the new comspicier so molder and scolly had to save him. lame i know

Am I the only one that tired of Mulder and Scully and was excited about Reyes and Doggett? They were near perfect fill-ins. The X-Files were about the X-Files and Mulder and Scully were one part of it, but I never felt it was about them, so having Reyes and Doggett come in was awesome for me (I always loved shows where new characters came in to replace old ones, or new characters were added each season, etc.) but the huge fan-boy base jerking off to Fox and Dana wouldn't have it. Too bad. Because X-Files could have been great with even a third set of agents to replace Doggett and Reyes. (Think: Doctor Who and James Bond, The Smurfs, Farscape, Negation comic book, Lost, etc.)

Of course, with Farscape, no one could ever replace John Crichton. But, they could have another actor play another part and if he's nothing like him I still would have been happy, because Farscape is about radness first, John Crichton, second. (The four human-type races, third) Heh.
