You are so incorrect, she's an excellent actress. "Independence Day: Resurgence" is such a giant piece of excremental waste, don't know what she was doing there, she must've needed the money, but since you're only judging her acting on it, you clearly don't know her work and as such, your accusation is unfounded. She's an awesome actress, check her out in Nymphomaniac I and II, Antichrist, 21 Grams, Melancholia and The Science of Sleep. She's so plain looking, but oh so sexy.

I -so- totally disagree! I think there is a an enormous subtlety in her acting that possibly comes from a lifetime of being overshadowed by a set of parents who were a pair of in-your-face entertainers who exploited themselves and Charlotte beyond the pale. I'm sure her sense of "understatement" comes from constantly being in a survival mode whether she's aware of it or not.
Is she a Reece Witherspoon? No. What she is, is a very accomplished actress who has learned to use her life experience in her acting in ways few actresses can.
Try watching her in Jane Eyre with William Hurt. Beautiful interplay between the two of them.
