On Hawaii-Five-O S02E04

I was wondering why a star like Peter Fonda with a long and distinguished career would have a small guest role on Hawaii-Five-O.

I thought the credits would at least say "Special Guest Star" or something; but he is just listed in the credits as the second name.

Seemed odd even for a paycheck.
