His near death experience, or actually his 'being dead' experience

whoa. i saw headline "Peter Fonda died three times" and at first i was terrified. i was like "peter fonda died?!" then i when i actually read the article, i was relieved to learn that no he wasn't dead, but amazed after learning of his incredible story. supposedly when he was 11, while cleaning his father's gun, he accidently shot himself in the chest/or stomach , and it grazed his heart. he was pronounced dead three times before he was finally brought back. it his heart when the muscles were contracting, when his heart made a beat and it pushed it out and under the heart, there by only grazing the heart and not puncturing it. if his heart had not beat that very second, he would've been dead. i don't care if he happens to be a celebrity; that is an incredible story for anyone to share. As a fellow human being, i feel like it's one of those great 'new outlooks on life' kind of stories that will stay with you in your memory down the road and end up inspiring you each time you revisit them. obviously John Lennon thought it was something, or he wouldn't have written into his song, "She Said, She Said." even though Lennon was acting like a jerk, i think it was scary to him because it was addressing his deepest fears. John Lennon supposedly had this deep fear from constant nightmares of dying an early death. and well, ended up he was right.

I read that bit in Wikipedia about the song "She Said She Said." I cracked up a few times readings how they (Beatles, The Byrds, Jon Baez; wow! What a party that must have been) were all tripping in the bathtub, and Lennon describes Fonda as this dude in sunglasses who kept coming over and telling them he knew what it was like to be dead. And Lennon told him to shutup, as he was seriously killing their vibe LoL

Although apparently he was trying to comfort George, so I feel kinda bad for Peter in that story.
