shareI'd say it's too late to get to the hospital if your skin is translucent because you're already a zombie. Lara appears to have the same skin as us mortals (would that be opaque?), but I'm concerned about the lips these days:

She was incredible. How anyone could damage THOSE looks is beyond me. Yet what she's done is scary.

sharePale, translucent skin is a status symbol in China, Japan, and Korea as well as other countries where a suntan, especially on women is still frowned upon in the upper classes. Then, there are people like myself, who were born pale and choose to stay that way or have no choice because the sun is dangerous or because they could not tan even if they tried.
Translucent skin is more akin to vampires, not zombies. I doubt that anyone would envy a zombie's complexion.
