His cancer could have been caused by many different factors including smoking, dipping tobacco, drinking alcohol, genetics, being around smokers, the pollution in the CA air, even working on a movie set like the cast of that John Wayne movie where over 75 people got cancer including, The Duke, and many others (over 100) were very I'll from working on a radioactive film set in Utah.
