The sad, aged out ex-boyfriend type

This has been Chris Eigeman's typecast and he's always lived up to it in everything I've seen him in, but he does a damn good job at it. Too bad Noah Baumbach stopped casting him in favor of Ben Shiller, who I find utterly annoying and self-aware. At least with Chris' portrayals his desperation comes off as genuine and empathetic.

Younger actor Adam Scott looks and sounds like Chris in this respect. They even dress the same with those over coats with elbow pads on them.
