Good Morning from sunny Barcelona,

London Theatrical tweeted about Faye Dunaway recently.

“Great news coming soon for @RealFayeDunaway”.

Could you enlighten me on this tweet, please? Is it referring to the upswing in her career recently (Hand of God, The Bye Bye Man, The Case for Christ, Inconceivable)…or is there another project in the works, perhaps a return to the West End? I was lucky enough to see Ms. Dunaway in Circe and Bravo on opening night at the Hampstead Theatre many moons ago.

Kind regards,

Tony Keirle

Yes, referring to the recent upswing plus another project currently in development … to be announced early next year

It was a good night, as it's a small theatre and so you are very close the the actors. It only seats 405 people and I walked in on the day never expecting to get a seat but did...on opening night, so I was sat close to Terry O'Neil who was commenting to Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach how he had been helping FD with lines but all he had to say was "Yes, ma'am" and "No, ma'am" due to the nature of the play which is essentially a monologue.FD was nervous but gave a great performance. It transferred to the West End and I met her outside Wyndham Theatre, asked her about upcoming projects, she told me she was going to film something with Mickey Rourke in New York. As she walked away, I asked her if I could have a kiss...she paused dramatically and then imperiously said..."Nooooo" dragging out the syllable as only she can...

Great memories indeed, tonirizo. I wish I could have seen her on stage too.

She left the Theatrical London agency in 2012, but I'm so glad she is back with them. They're so easy, always nice to talk to, unlike the US one...
