Why is there no talking here about one of the greatest actors of all time??

"to catch a killer" and "in broad daylight" are great movies with strong performances!
What are your favourites?

Brian Dennehy is great in First Blood, which is probably one of my favourite movies, but despite really liking him as an actor, I must admit I haven't seen him in very many films. For some reason, he never really got a lot of big roles in big movies, which is a shame. I agree that his performance in To Catch A Killer is great, especially the scene where he goes into the police station off his face and furious.

hah yeah, i forgot to mention First Blood! And yes you're right,he should have gotten big roles in big movies. He is better than a tv movie actor.

I would like to see In Broad Daylight again.....need to see if it is around anywhere...

Did you see him in the series Hap and Leonard? Vastly underrated

I just searched for Broad daylight, but cant find it anywhere with seeders.
I requested the movie on a torrent tracker.
Thanks for the Hap and Leonard recommendation,I didnt see that yet.

He's been compared to Lee J. Cobb, a big powerful guy. But I have to say that Lee J. Cobb is the greater actor, that's not by any means a put down of Dennehy, just in the context of greatest actors of all time.
