I see that Benico del Toro was added to the cast of Star Wars VIII. Wouldn't it be something if he was casted as the Collector, the character from Guardians of the Galaxy. I know that's not the case, but it would be exciting to place the Guardians and Star Wars in the same universe.

shareI suggested the same thing on the Episode VIII board. I also recommended a showdown between Luke Skywalker and Khan Noonian Singh of Star Trek. Del Toro could play Khan perfectly. The idea sounds dumb at first, but the result would be fantastic because Khan is so hypnotically psychotic that he makes every scene he's in better. He's hands down one of the best characters in all of SciFi.
shareWell hopefully his presence can make the movie interesting and somewhat enjoyable. Episode VII was terrible. Such a forgettable movie ... in part because we've seen it 3x already, and in other part because it was such a cliche "now" Hollywood movie.
I like Benicio, always have. Hopefully he gives the next movie a little substance and a character worth liking.
