Cruel and mean to her guests and staff behind stage but puts on the 'nice' and 'sunny' persona as a charade to the public. Anyone at all surprised by this? I knew it was all an act.

She's such a "nice" person that she couldn't understand the ferocious backlash when she was seen at a ballgame with war criminal George W. Bush. Do "nice" people hang out with murderers responsible for the deaths of over 1 million Iraqis on the untrue pretext that Saddam had a stockpile of weapons of mass destruction? What to Ellen constitutes being "nice" or ethical?Ellen's recent tone-deaf statement comparing her quarantine in her gigantic mansion to being in jail was a colossally insensitive and unfunny remark. Now the revelations are coming out from her disgruntled crew about what she's REALLY like to work with behind the scenes. I'm finding this thoroughly entertaining and look forward to the complete collapse of her career. She can go count her $330 million fortune in some underground New Zealand bunker for the wealthy. She has nothing to offer anyone except her bland inoffensive humor and celebrity-worship. And Ellen---please give us Portia back. She hasn't been funny since you guys have been together.

Where they come across as nice and pleasant in public but behind closed doors, she's a micromanager who makes everybody's life a living hell and causes workplace drama & tension. So, I sympathize with her workers. Because that is a side that the public never sees.
