Trump adviser gives a shoutout to Ice Cube for ‘his willingness to step up and work with the [Trump] administration to help develop the Platinum Plan’ for Black Americans.

Though Ice Cube has not commented specifically on Trump’s “Platinum Plan,” which touts an almost $500B package for the Black community, he has been open about his communication with both Republicans and Democrats regarding his Contract with Black America, “a blueprint to achieve racial economic justice.”

I guess if you work with the Trump administration to help your own community of color out with investments or what looks to be reparations of sorts you get cancelled. So much brain dead these days.

reply

Its not just twitter, its anyone that hates Trump , so half of AMerica and not the 2% that live on twitter

reply

LOL

reply

I hate Trump but I admire Ice Cube for helping his community out any way he can.

So he worked with a racist liar and conman, who is well known for promising the world and never following through, and got him to agree to some BS deal that anybody paying attention knows he would never follow through on. I like Ice Cube, but I judge him and anyone else harshly if they are dumb enough to believe that Trump or the Republicans would ever keep some 11th hour promise made right before an election.

If he want to be a collaborator with an administration that has spent four years demonizing black people protesting for equal rights while giving the benefit of the doubt to white supremacist(some of whom work in the damned administration) he can suffer whatever consequences come his way.

reply

There is nothing to support the claim that Trump is a racist. His actual behavior suggests otherwise. As for never following through, it's kind of impossible to bring your plans to fruition when they are continually blocked by the House and leftist activist judges, and lied about by the news media.

reply

I find Trump to be a fascinating subject of conversation. So many people have almost willed into a existence stuff like he's a racist and yet when I ask for an example of how he's racist, they realize they can't actually give an example.

reply

That's because to Trump supporters, the bare minimum to be a racist is a man in a Klan hood standing next to a burning cross and anything below that bar is a valid opinion.

I'm not gonna sit here and list every racist thing he's said and done(who has that kind of time) but lets hit some of his all time slimiest.

- The racist birther movement
- demonizing BLM protestors while taking a very soft tone towards tiki torch carrying supremacist
- Almost Anything he's said about immigrants
- His discriminatory renting practices toward black renters
- that even in 2020, he still refers to them as "the blacks"
- Still can't admit that the central park 5 were innocent and he was in the wrong
- The fact that his inner circle is filled with racist: Bannon, Miller, and Gorka who's a straight up neo-nazi
- Honestly, even if I knew nothing about the man, the fact that white supremacist groups straight up love him and his policies would be plenty.

But keep telling yourself that your pig of a one term President isn't a racist.

reply

Would you say Biden was a racist?

reply

Biden definitely has had his own sketchy moments to answer for, but if your asking would I put him on the same level as Trump, I would say god no!

reply

You ever hear of Robert Byrd, and his relation to Joe Biden?

What about "poor kids are just as bright as white kids".

"If you don't vote for me, you're not black."

Obama is "the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean”

That 1994 crime bill which let to mass incarceration of Black Americans.

There's plenty more. I dunno man, I bet you he's pretty racist.

reply

Byrd was a piece of crap who eventually acknowledged it, apologized, and spent the rest of his life not being a boil on the ass of society. I have no issue with him.

As I said, Biden ain't perfect and has put his foot in his mouth more than once, but at least he has the self awareness to apologize when he screws up.

The other option is a man, who by his own words, has never apologized because he never makes mistakes. I've said it before, but I honestly don't get what you like about that guy? He's the walking embodiment of every bad leadership quality there is.

reply

There's nothing that convinces me that one is more or less racist than the other based on what they've said or not said, done or not done in the past. You're saying God no like there is a huge divide, but I disagree. I can also guarantee you that there are plenty of very rich and powerful white supremacists that love Biden, too. Just because they don't look like a hick from Alabama and are on the internet showing their support for him doesn't mean they don't exist.

Also I don't see where you got the idea that I liked Trump. Shit, I'm not even American. I'm Canadian and we've got a Prime Minister who is nothing like Trump on the surface and never said anything insulting, until...Those pictures and videos of him wearing black face on 3 different occasions surfaced. Point being, you never know.

In Trumps defense though. He doesn't know how to shut the fuck up, can't help but always speak his mind, he's insanely blunt, the mans mouth moves faster than his brain can process what he's about to say. Given those traits, I'd expect a lot more Freudian slips if he truly was as vile as he's often made out to be.

reply

Maybe the view is way different from up north, but if you can't see a world of difference between these two men when it comes to race relations, you clearly aren't looking hard enough(or at all).

And while I have no doubt there are plenty of racist Biden supporters, they sure as hell aren't voting for him for that, unlike a good deal of Trump supporters who love him because they know full well he intends to stick it to brown people as much as possible.

As an unbiased outsider without a horse in this race, you might be right, but I've followed American politics pretty closely for a long time now and based on MSM, social media, Reddit, Twitter, celebrities, athletes, you'd think Biden would have demolished Trump, yet somehow, unsurprisingly it was a pretty close election. There's clearly a lot of bias going on so you may want to apply that quote to yourself and try looking at things objectively.

I also guess the largest minority votes for a republican since JFK were from self loathers who wanted him to stick it to them, right?

Ones a douche, the other is a turd. You can decide on which is which.

reply

Never underestimate the willingness of voters to go completely against their own self interest. After 2016 and seeing the almost cult like devotion Trump voters have for him, only an idiot would have thought this was going to be a blow out. Definitely should have been after the total bungling of Covid-19, but that's an argument for another thread.

One may be a douche and one a turd, but they still have entirely different platforms, will appoint very different judges(qualified would be a nice requirement to bring back), and will ultimately leave very different impacts on the country and the world. Hell Biden already said on Day 1 the U.S. will re-enter the Paris climate accords and bring back Obama era emissions standards. These are significant differences.

reply

This was solely a discussion about racism, I called you out because you said God no, Biden isn’t on the same level as Trump in terms of racism and now you’re suddenly talking about Covid and Global Warming policies. Let’s just agree to disagree. Also, best not use promises from politicians about their upcoming policies, they hardly ever follow through on the majority of their promises.

reply

The bulk of the playbook in modern US politics has been to shout down your opponent with unsubstantiated claims. In the day of social networking it's easy enough to ignore a rebuttal and still act like you're in the right.

I agree, we have more dirt on Biden being a racist but when a Democrat is racist it's for "their" own good and we should accept it in the supposed fashion it was meant. Very odd but that's the way the argument plays out.

Pretty sorry state of affairs that you can't openly discus politics in the US without fear or violence, intimidation, doxxing or being cancelled. What's concerning is the sheer number of people that are OK with it being like this. Both sides should be able to have a rational, level headed conversation about a subject they disagree on. Sadly, there are millions of people that are simply incapable of this.

reply

"rational, level headed"

Those things disappeared in the rear-view mirror a few years ago. The road ahead leads only to totalitarian leftism.

reply

I can't work out if their followers are too stupid to see what's coming or they genuinely want it.

reply

It's a mixture of both, without question.

reply

Yeah, I was thinking that was probably the case. Stupidity can only get you so far. The rest requires planning.

reply

I love how Democrats claim to be so tolerant and yet, they get pissed off when not everyone thinks like them.....

I see SNL is being racist again.

reply

If you support someone that somebody doesn’t agree with, who cares? Ooooo, Twitter “canceled” somebody???? LOL!

Still waiting for that 500B.
