Going back to grade school, I recall a handsome Jock guy in 8th grade who would always tell the girls really filthy sexual jokes, grab their asses, comment on their boobs, etc. etc. All the girls would pretend to be offended, but then they would laugh and smile at him, and most of them had huge crushes on the guy.
Then there was a guy who was really socially awkward and probably had Aspergers or Autism. He didn't have any friends whatsoever except one kid just like him in a younger grade. One day, this nerdy kid decided to copy the routine of the Jock guy. What he did was very mild compared to the Jock. He just prodded the cheek of one girl's butt with his index finger and said "Nice buns!" while we were in the cafeteria getting hot dogs for lunch. The Jock used to grab a whole handful of ass and say really sexually explicit stuff when he attacked the girls, not a half-hearted, lame move like the Nerd's.
The girl that was prodded by the nerd screamed and ran straight to the office with this exaggerated story about how the nerd had tried to put his hand in her pants. The Jock guy immediately jumped in and threatened to beat the nerd's head in. The nerd got suspended for 2 days and had to eat lunch in the Principal's office for 3 weeks. My friend and I actually saw the whole thing happen, as we were right behind the nerd, but unfortunately we never said anything because we didn't want to go against the rest of the class by defending the nerd.
Watching all that happen taught me a lot about how the world works.
so you are saying if you are attracted to the person and they do stuff you like its not rape/assault.
but if you arent attracted to the person and they touch or do stuff to you it is assault/rape.
wow thanks for that clarification. I was worried the women who were interested in me and I chose to have sex with were raping me. But due to your insightful and profound post I realize consensual flirting/ touching isnt rape. but non consensual touching is.
