Cosby is worst out of the sexual misconduct allegations

Because he represented this really moran, ethical, family values demeanour, he's was one of the last to expect, he's been described as the number one serial rapist of all time and it's like "How is that possible?".

reply

It really is surreal to think about. He's the guy everyone wanted to believe was the person they saw on their TV. Few celebrity falls from grace hit as hard as this one simply because as you pointed out, he represented family values to so many.

reply

It's a crazy unfortunate sad situation that ruins his whole legacy. Because he represented family values to do many people it feels like he broke your trust, there's plenty of people out there who pretend to care about family values to hide their true sinister nature.

reply

I think he's second worst, to Michael Jackson.

First because he preyed on little kids, who had even less power than Cosby's victims. Then because he created this innocent, childlike, spiritual, clean, "I'm all about love" image, which trumped even Cosby's.

reply

Sad fact is I don't think I can think of any black American that black people can look up to. Jackson has the pedo problems, Cosby was a rapist... Hell even Martin Luther King Jr was a womanizer and plagiarist... Is there not a single morally clean black man in America?

reply

Most of America's greatest men, including the Founding Fathers and even going back before the United States to Columbus, were far from morally clean

reply

By throwing Columbus in there you lost all credibility. Columbus never set foot on what is now America. He landed on a few Caribbean islands but never even reached Florida. So really he has nothing to do with America's founding. Go read a history book before you start spouting off nonsense.

reply

I know he never reached the United States. However, Columbus (and more specifically, the "Goddess of Liberty" Columbia) have been an important part of America's iconography from the beginning. Columbus was featured in patriotic sculptures and paintings (usually the background) of the period. We always thought Columbus was somehow important, but we were cautious because (a) he never actually landed in our country, (b) it was hundred over years earlier, (c) he was Catholic, (d) he was from Italy. So he was cautiously regarded as an honorary figure from from the beginning, although a problematic one. Columbus himself became more important to the "American Story" once Irish Catholics started coming to the U.S.A. The Knights of Columbus was originally an Irish Catholic organization. The political usefulness and importance of Columbus grew dramatically once Italian Catholics began arriving in the early 20th century. More and more states gradually put a Columbus Day on their calendar. After Italian Americans helped put FDR in the White House, he created an official Columbus Day in order to thank them for their support. It has been a national holiday ever since. In short, he became politically useful in the 20th Century, the more and more Catholics we had in the country, starting with the annexation of Mexican territory and accelerating with the arrival of Irish and Italian Catholics. Columbus gave them a "go-getting immigrant" model to look up to. YOU go read a history book! These are historical facts. I'm not seeking your credulity.

Besides didn't I address this in my first message by saying "even going back before the United States to Columbus"?

reply

MJ was not a molester, or a pedophile FYI

reply

Thank you! Everyone with any common sense knows that MJ was innocent!

reply

of course,
in fact MJ was not even a sexual being, he detested it!!

reply

He wasn't a type of comedian who would swear on stage or poke fun at a serious subject etc.

reply

Seems like this sexual misconduct is occuring more and more these days not only among entertainment stars but also politicians.

reply

I don't think it's happening more often. I think that victims of it (both women and men) are not just sucking it up and saying that's just the way it is anymore and speaking out about it.

reply

....and good for them! I'm thinking of the recent charges against Kevin Spacey.

reply

Charges were dropped after accuser took the 5th.

I don't doubt his serial predatory ways but that case always appeared suspect to me. The accuser seemed more like an opportunist trying to exploit Spacey's circumstances for a quick out of court settlement than an actual victim.

reply

It's a strange trait that some people have, you ever notice how people project one thing like Cosby projecting family values and he's raping women behind the curtain or people who are homophobic who are actually gay behind the scenes.

reply

Just because he was found guilty it doesn't mean he is guilty. Too many gold digging whores are out there to cash in on celebrities.

reply

Same defense that's been used forever. They must be gold-digging whores! 🙄

reply

you believe him over the women!
you're nuts!

reply

No he isn't nuts, you just need to learn more about the Cosby case.. Those women(including Constand) told several lies regarding their encounters with Bill Cosby.

reply

I thought the eye-rolling emoji was enough to show I was being sarcastic 🤷‍♀️

reply

Just because they're gold-digging whores hoping to get a break in the industry doesn't mean they deserved to be raped. Whores are people too.

reply

He knew that people were so desperate to see a black man who was wholesome, successful, and preached family values, that they would turn a blind eye to his evil deeds. Obama pulled the same trick.
