I am a big fan of the terrence mallick flick, "The Thin Red Line", in which Ben plays quite a pivotal role. I just checked his bio and realized that he used to play matthew in game on! I had absolutely no idea about that although I have seen both game on and TTRL many times before. I suppose it shows what a good actor he is really.

It is pretty bizarre how he was in both. Yeah, guess it show's he's versatile. Jim Carrey certainly can't put that on his CV. Recently I've seen adverts on Ch4 showing him in a film with Nicole Kidman that looked like an action/drama, so he has even more depth at his disposable.
Maybe he was overlooked as a potential guy to play James Bond?

I have a lot of respect for Neil Stuke, but the role belonged to Chaplin, he turned a great show into a cult show. Excellent actor, why do we not see more of him?!?!

Im not sure how you can imply that Carrey cannot do dramatic AND comedic roles, he was fantastic in ESOTSM.
