Anyone agree...

That Lon Chaney Jr. was underrated?

reply

Oh, absolutely.

His "Indestructible Man" '56 is a brilliant piece of acting. A complete role of a fleshed out character. It's in the public domain so every one gets to see it even if by accident.

A working man who kept at it till there was no more to give and no more tomorrows to give it in. He'd given it all.

It's your charter post, pd. & it's well worthy of a Direct Hit.

Lon Chaney, Jr......I'll be damned---he is cited of a Monday night 7 May 2018.

He also did character work outside of horror films in movies such as "Of Mice and Men" (as Lennie, his favorite role), "High Noon", and "The Defiant Ones". His career was also impeded by a serious drinking problem.
