What was he famous for before the Passion?

When ever someone mentions him they always say he played Jesus in the Passion or he plays John Reese on Person of Interest so what was he famous for before the Passion?

Frequency...LOVE

Angel Eyes with Jennifer Lopez...might not be a big popular movie, but I liked it

I Am David...fabulous movie! His part is not huge, but significant

The Stoning of Soraya M...the best movie nobody has seen

Also Deja Vu and High Crimes

The Thin Red Line

I thought he had to be at least somewhat known for that because in the commentary for Pay It Forward the director says "Jim Caviezel from The Thin Red Line" even though Frequency was more recent.

Me too. I suggested it to my Mom and she thought it was going to be predictable but when she watched it she didn't find it that predictable.

Oh Jim and Jennifer both were so good in that movie.

I love that movie. I wish they had had a little more from the book but I like how Johannes dies in the movie better then the book. And the scene towards the end with David on the plane just hit me right in the heart to me that scene is saying even though David is moving on to a better life he would always remember Johannes

Also Deja Vu

I love Deja Vu. Jim was very good at playing the villain

I first saw him in Outlander.

outlander is the movie that makes me a fan of his.

Actually, I've never seen The Passion. But I knew him from Frequency, Angel Eyes, High Crimes and The Count of Monte Cristo.

I don't trust people who don't like pets and I don't trust people who pets don't like.

That was an interesting movie. I either saw him first in Deja Vu, Pay It Forward or Frequency (I can't remember which I saw first).

He played what I can only describe as "an unspeakably hot piece of ass" on THE WONDER YEARS (Hero, 1992).

Check that out on Netflix now!
