Heritage?

Does anyone know his heritage? Can't seem to find anything about it. Was he Italian by any chance?.

This is listed in the trivia section for John Carradine. "The Carradine family traces its ancestry back to an actual saint--St. Pedro Carradegna, patron saint of Barcelona". So, I'm assuming that he is Spanish.

Wasn't that obvious ? Pay attention!

If you investigate a little I think you'll find that the saintly Spanish ancestry cannot be substantiated. Most saints did not have children, for one thing. They were celibate.

Most of his ancestry was probably English, with some Irish and Scottish. That is pretty obvious from looking at him too—he has a very Anglo Saxon face.
