Despite all of the hateful responses your comment drew, I think you posed a valid question. It is extremely rare that an attractive man has lived for fifty four years without ever marrying. As far as the fifty one year old dame goes, who got so very nasty with you, there's a very logical explanation of why she remains an unmarried hetero, and that would be that she's pug-ugly, as well as extremely unpleasant.
