Sheesh, the older I get the younger 85 sounds ... he was just a young lad. Rest in peace Wilford Brimley.

This is sad and quite unexpected - he has been very active on Twitter up until the last few days at least.

He always seemed a great guy as well as a welcome presence on our screens. I used to love his TV show ‘Our House’ back in the early 90s.
