Definitely agreed on Blue Jasmine and I'm Not There.
I haven't seen Elizabeth (to my shame), so my third slot would have to go to Lord of the Rings. My Tolkien geekery demands it. Although, Curious Case of Benjamin Button would be a close second.
Discounting LOTR... I love the movies, but don't think Blanchett is all that good in them...

I haven't seen Carol but I love The Talented Mr. Ripley, always thought it was underrated.
shareYes, it’s an outstanding film, as is the 1960 version of the story Plein Soleil.
Carol is excellent with exquisite period detail. I think it’s easily Blanchett’s best performance to date along with Blue Jasmine.
I'll definitely check Carol out, it's been on my to-watch list for a while. Have you seen Little Fish? She's wonderful in that, definitely her best performance in an Australian film.
