Just heard that there will be a new remake of Miami Vice . I think he's a good choice to be the director of it . He is really good at action , crime movies and his relationship with Michael Mann also makes it possible .

Loved the super cool series and the 2006(?) film was pretty good, underrated, captured some of the series' style despite not being set in the '80s.
Any new film or TV series should be set in the '80s though. Unless they have a series follow-on with Don Johnson and Philip Michael-Thomas as old private eyes.
