Imdb lists Robby Benson's height as 5'10". This cannot be correct. Many years ago I read that his height stood at 5'7", which seems more accurate. Take another look at his one classic movie, the memorable, "One On One" (1977). You have to look at Benson in comparison with the other characters in the movie. He looks really short. Benson looks close to co-star, Annette O'Toole's height, which is 5'5".

shareHe's closer to 5'10 then he is to 5'7, he's rather tall. I met him at a book signing at Borders in Westwood, that's before I knew who he was. I went home and was just casually talking to my mom and mentioned that I saw this really cute old guy who they say use to be a child actor. My mom went nuts...lol.
shareHe's definitely around 5'10-11, my sister and I met him at a booksigning too and she is 5'9. She wore low heels then and he was still a little taller than her.

Thanks, all, for the info. I have to trust your judgment that Benson can be reliably listed between 5'9" and 5'10". Since he is in his mid-50s now, he is most likely between 5'8.5" to 5'9", given the natural height shrinkage of all humans after age 40.
