That's interesting, I didn't know that. I've always liked him since Close Encounters and the diary he wrote of the production.

Whenever I think of anything he's been in I always remember the scene in No Reservations where he recommended that Catherine Zeta Jones character, who is a five-star chef, serve her niece fish sticks for dinner. Her reaction was priceless.
