What did he die of?

None of the reports say anything specific.

I don't necessarily think HIV, even if he had it. There are meds for that, and there'd be no reason to succumb to immune failure if he was taking the meds.

I'd speculate meningitis.

reply

Yeah, maybe Alexis was taking his medication (If HIV infection theory is true).

Last pictures of him showed a very unhealthy person, then I read somewhere she was changing back to he.... perhaps that has something to do with it?

reply

well, if Alexis was a denier of HIV theory, and for that reason, wasn't taking the meds, i hope that comes out to the public.

reply

google "alexis arquette aids" and find the true reason yourself.

her being hiv positive was something i suspected, but that doesn't explain cause of death.

Was she taking her meds? If not, then yeah, i'm sure any 100 different ailments could be chalked up to being 'hiv-related' because even the most innocuous thing, she wouldn't have been able to fight off.

i'm reading 'tumor'. In severe immune disfunction, yes, you can get a tumor, so again, that tumor might be 'hiv-related'.

So again, my question is, was she taking the meds or not, and if not, why not? The meds would've driven the viral levels down so that the immune system could get back on track, and then hopefully no tumor in the first place.

She was living in an apartment for HIV-AIDS infected people. That's depressing.
Wasn't working that much, and doing some works here and there.
Hormones replacement + HIV antiretrovirals... mortal cocktail .
I think she didn't want to live anymore. To much pressure by seeing how they end up thanks to the infection, that's why maybe she stopped her medication, if she ever started it at all in the first place.

reply

True... the meds alone, the liver/kidney really have to work overtime to process it.... Add hormone replacement on top of that.... That would really be a toxic burden on the body. People cited that she had yellow eyes, and that jives with the theory that she had liver or kidney failures.

But that said.... Magic Johnson has been there from the beginning, even the treatment was much more toxic. Yes, he has money, but he has said countless times that he's not on any special regimen. He takes his meds... the same meds anyone can get.

HIV is not a death sentence. At this point in the game, the patient is expected to live a near correct length of life compared to a HIV negative person. If she gave up, then that is the wrong message to others.

I actually was the first one on saying that I notice something strange on his physical appearance + the yellowness on his eyes. (not that I want to be like an idiot saying "I as the first one..." but yes, many other people have said they noticed yellow eyes as well)

Since he is a human being, he had all the rights on decide whether or not to continue, but since he is a public figure, just imagine, the news will spread that Alexis will have the fault on giving up and letting the infection advance until it becomes full blown AIDS and telling it's a good idea to do that to her (3) fans.

HIV is not a death sentence, but putting her in comparison with Magic Johnson it's a bit unfair... but at the end, the one who decided was Alexis, and not her finances (meds are available to everyone).
