"He died as he lived, on his own terms. I am immensely grateful that it was fast and painless. "

I'm gonna guess that it was suicide. A pre-arranged suicide with the family gathered.

Michael: Oh, who's being naive, Kay?

reply

So basically the statistics are right regarding transgenders and suicide. In some cases can it be that people who are transgender just have a higher chance of mental illness.

reply

Actually if some of you took the time to read you would have seen that it said after a long illness.
Secondly most Trans ppl are mentally fine but with the constant hate and discrimination they receive can lead to depression as would anyone who would have to endure such obstacles.

reply

Allowing the pressures of society to get to you would mean that that you're not "mentally fine."

I seriously doubt that her death was a suicide, and if it was, I would seriously suspect that she had a terminal illness that would have soon taken her life anyway.

Dellis, that's what I'm thinking. She just took it upon herself to end her own life rather than have the disease eventually do it.

And she gathered her family together so they could all be with her when she did.

She turned it into a joyous occasion.

Its likely correct. The suicide rate among those with that mental condition rank even higher than homosexuals or other disabilities.

Wow. Such bigoted people to assume it was suicide. Alexis was surroundered by family when they died, so unless Alexis had an extremely weird family I doubt it was suicide. It was mentioned in another trend it was a longterm illness.

...............ZING!

I said "likely"...not assuming anything. And his family is pretty messed up...so I wouldn't assume anything. You don't know the meaning of words if you believe assumption has anything to do with bigotry.

"Roberts was surroundered by family when they died,"

So his family killed themselves first?...real genius here.

"Zing" indeed...lol.
