From Blockbusters to a daytime soap opera. That's kind of a bummer. Usually it's the other way around. At least she's working.

What is her character like?

She should try to stay on that show forever, because it's highly doubtful she'll ever make big movies again.

Sean plays Meggie, recently hired as Nikki Newman's personal assistant. Nikki is a recovered alcoholic and Meggie has been spiking her lemonade with just a little vodka in order to get Nikki off the wagon, so that she can take Nikki's husband Victor away from her.

Hmmm, well that sounds like an interesting part.

I was thinking (and I don't mean this in a cruel way) but if she's stayed sober since leaving rehab, it could make her into a better actress.

When someone goes to AA, if they actually participate in the meetings and work the 12 Steps, it results in them relating to the present in an unfiltered way and also in them delving into their past experiences and feelings. These are things that good actors do, anyway.

Maybe her acting will be more honest and immediate if her real life is like that, too.

Sorry to say that's not the case, she's horrible on Y&R.

Oh no! Is this woman too arrogant to take acting classes, or something??? She's only been good in a couple things, and almost always playing very remote women (not a very hard quality to project).

She seriously needs to broaden her range, by any means necessary!
