In the 80′s, Sean Young was a rising star. She co-starred with Harrison Ford, Bill Murray, Kevin Costner and James Woods. She worked with directors Ridley Scott, David Lynch and Oliver Stone. She was cast in the star-making role of Vicki Vale in the 1989 Batman. And then, she became a cautionary tale of career implosion.

If you ever read about her behavior when she worked with James Woods, she really seems like she's a borderline (probably BPD with narcissistic tendencies). Bunny killer level behavior. No wonder her acting career didn’t go far. She sounds like a nightmare to be around.share

Sean Young has had a long history of impulsivity, instability, high drama, and anger problems (e.g. remember the 'Catwoman' incident?). Clearly she would be diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (see also: Lindsay Lohan).

Sean Young was cast as Vicki Vale in Tim Burton‘s 1989 film Batman. During rehearsals, however, she broke her arm after falling off a horse and was replaced by Kim Basinger.
In an unsuccessful attempt to win the role as Catwoman in the sequel Batman Returns, Young constructed a homemade Catwoman costume and attempted to confront Burton and actor Michael Keaton during production.
