What will be a challenge is that in Season 1 and 2, Claire was as cold and ruthless as her husband. Then we gradually saw more human and regretful sides of her...she actually cried at one point. And the trill of the show at its best was being horrified by these soulless, manipulative sociopaths.

So, I don't know if they can make Claire evil enough to bring the show back to the chilly glory it once had. (Season 5 wasn't particularly good, though, so maybe the bar is kind of low, as far as getting better is concerned.)

I am guessing they will ultimately scrap the sixth season altogether, or, perhaps shorten it significantly. Time will tell.
