DataLounge is a low-end gossip site, so it makes a very uncredible source, particularly as its threads are usually full of anonymous allegations without anything whatsoever to back them up.

The Daily Mail will also jump on anything, and usually get the details wrong.

Lipstick Alley is just reprinting the Sunday Times article without anything new, not to mention the insane anti-Semitism and paranoia that of the very first comment.

Why would he face criminal charges? Defamation is a civil law matter.

This reminds me of when Corey Feldman said that "Hollywood is full of pedophiles". There is no proof of this. I don't doubt there are some there, but not nearly enough to justify his panic inducing statement.

Pedophiles tend to go after kids who are "weaker" than others as opposed to those that are more confident or who would likely tell an adult.

I really don't know why you say that. It's a generalisation. The impression I have is that paedophiles are opportunistic predators in some cases and calculated predators in other cases.
