My mum commented that Ms Winslet resembles the classic star Bette Davis, especially in the Titanic movie.

I have to agree - similar English looks, eyes, smile.

She is a legend as well as Bette Davis.

Watch 'Now Voyager' from 1942 and Titanic back-to-back and you will see stricking similarities.

Indeed she does. Meryl Streep as well. I'm still dreaming of Kate and Meryl being in the same film one day. They'd be superb as mother and daughter.

I don't see it with Kate, but Dakota Fanning reminds me of Bette Davis.
