I just saw the new site, Laura and it's terrific -- very elegant and very reflective of Michael's aesthetic. I think you have streamlined it in a very attractive and readable way, and there are some GREAT new clips and photos I don't think I saw before -- to any other fans out there, DO NOT MISS the link to the short art film "The Farewell" by Daniel Krugliov (SP?).
Michael Wincott and some unknown actress turn in very nuanced and moving performances in a 23 minute short; plot is a little obtuse, but MW is absolutely fine in a nice emotional turn, and a bit of romance; gee, the kind of part I wish we could see him do in a full-length film and a more fleshed out script.
But nice -- and for director Kruglikov, this is a big step up in quality and production values from his last collaboration with MW, the (even shorter short) "Lula".
I highly recommend viewing this!
Laura, did that screen test from The Iceman make it to your website? or can it (might be copyrighted or something)? It was TERRIFIC, really nice work and deserves to be seen by more people!
shareI will see if Vimeo still has the file showing and if they will allow me to embed like "The Farewell." I applied for permission for that one even though it's not necessary. _BUT_ I want to make sure it's okay with Michael first. Since it was only a screen test he may prefer it vanish, you know?

Oh that would be too bad! it's just excellent -- he gives a fine performance! (Makes me wonder how lightweight actor James Franco is going to play the part!)
