Are you sure it was her. I doubt she would take that role... She is loaded.

it was her. wil wheaton had a similar cameo role the next week

reply

Yeah... Well Wil Weaton is a washed up actor who cant get a job, and got nothing from TNG. So now he writes... and not well may I add.

Yes, that was Nana on 'CSI' last fall. Nana lives in Las Vegas with her husband, Matthew Rimmer, and two sons. She took a bit of a break after playing Roxie Hart in the touring and Broadway productions of 'Chicago' in 1999-2001, just doing a few bit roles as favors (ie 'Frasier') or when it was convenient (ie 'Las Vegas', 'CSI'). However, she does have a new show this summer on ABC Family. It's called 'Wildfire' and it premieres on June 20.

The sad thing you you seriously expect actors to strive to be "famous"

Perhaps, she is quite happy. Perhaps she has more important things to be doing in live than striving for the adulation of the drooling masses glued to their tv's.

It's funny, I JUST saw that CSI episode last week. Yeah, CLEARLY her. The reality is, no matter how much WE know these are talented actors, Star Trek actors are usually type-casted and/or reduced to second-string roles after coming off that show. Visitor was an AMAZING actress and showed tremendous range. She SHOULD be getting film roles and/or big TV drama roles SUCH as stuff in 24, ER, Law and Order and etc. Instead, she's given little movie-of-the-week and guest star stuff. Its nice she has a tv show now though that got picked up. With all that said though, it's ALWAYS hard for me to feel sorry for someone that don't have to work a day in her life anymore and will be seeing Star Trek money until she's 90 ;).

Unfortunately, we may not see her often on tv... but I know she's doing plays. Most people on Star Trek Deep Space Nine are theater actors.
