I haven't been interested in anything Vince has done in the past few years but I think I'll give this one a chance.
17 years since Swingers he's finally carrying a movie on his own. Most of his other films have had another equal level actor paired with him.

I feel like he lost faith in his ability to do drama, when in fact, I think it is his strongest suit.
His comedy becomes repetitive after awhile. He is funny the first time, but after seeing 2-3 of his movies, his characters become predictable.
But in drama he can be quite impressive. He just had some bad luck with the dramatic films he chose. Hopefully Delivery Man will show people that he can do more than his motor mouth slob act that is common to him.
