But I thought it was funny because this a line that the Doyle character says in the same film. I would like to emphasize the word "supposedly" since it is in the trivia section of IMDB and I doubt they vet that very thoroughly.

The antique furniture part is true, he's been quoted talking about it. Actually, i TOTALLY understand it. I dont have a "phobia" of antique stuff but when i read about his phobia i realized that it has always sort of creeped me out too. I always felt a little unsettled sleeping at my grandparents house in their old-ass guest beds. Its all creaky and dusty and gaudy, its like people had a cruder sense of "comfort" back in the day

I knew someone that was scared of old things. She said she felt that they were cursed or had ghosts attached to them. Maybe BBT feels the same way.
