I watched it but after the ghostly kiss I had to change it.

Its because he IS dead now and he died in the movie.My mother & friends remember how HARD it WAS to go see Rebel Without A Cause after James Dean died. I DID'NT know until recently that it premiered in October 1955,and he died September,30,1955.He NEVER saw its impact in the film world.
