This movie is getting great buzz. Kiefer is playing a completely different type of role that sounds like it's really well written. Though Pfeiffer is the main star, kiefer's role sounds integral and interesting. So often you read critic reviews that say Kiefer transcends the material he works with. In this movie, hopefully, he can finally prove what he can do with great material and a great leading lady, a director who is new but already highly respected and a cinematographer who is pretty amazing.

Looks great. Hope it won't disappoint. Now that Donald Sutherland has a leading role in a film which is supposed to get some award buzz next year ("The Leisure Seeker"), I can't help but imagine how cool it would be if both of them would get some major noms in the same year.

That Would be awesome. Kiefer likes interesting Indy films but rarely gets great talent to work with. Pfeiffer is that talent. The pics of him look so different than anything we've seen him do. Can't wait.! Interesting that once he decided to come out with an album and tour, he seems to have been reenergized re his acting.

Yes, indeed. There's no doubt that he was terrific in "24" and his performance is beloved by many but he's so much more than Bauer. I hope he'll manage to find himself more of such interesting roles and will remind people his versatility.

Did you see Forsaken? Loved his vulnerability with his father.

I LOVE that movie and wonder why it didn't get more recognition. Kiefer's acting was great, the church scene brings tears to my eyes.

I did. It was a nice old-fashioned western. I really like "A Time to Kill", they both were so great in it but I was kinda annoyed that they didn't have any scene together. So "Forsaken" was something I've been looking forward for a while and it was so great to see them working together.
