I do not want to see him come back as Blade.

Let's face facts, he is getting too old to play Blade. Plus I always thought that Wesley Snipes' Blade movies existed in their own universe, but now that Marvel Studios got back the rights to Blade, I would really like to see someone else playing the role. If Wesley Snipes is to be involved in a Blade reboot film existing in the MCU it should be as a producer or executive producer.

OLD? He looks like he is in his late 30's at best, in comparison to Tom Cruise who looks like old bag of balls for his age, i'm pretty sure he would do well, as long as it's not a the same person who directed the atrocious third part

Who do you suggest play Blade then?

reply

I do.

Wesley still has the moves and the chops to play Blade again.

The thing is, once you get a character for a certain role and he/she fits perfectly to that role (W.S. in blade in this case), you can't replace that person if you want to keep your audience. Just like how you can't allow someone else to play the role of the Terminator. You know how they pushed it with CGI in T4 and T5 for Arnold's terminator because he just couldn't be replaced. They even made a different storyline where Arnold could an old terminator. In summary, W.S. as blade is one of the actors that can't be replaced for this role.

The problem is that the last time he starred as blade he acted like a diva.
Maybe prison took him down a notch, but with an attitude even resembling his former actions in the slightest, he will never work on a blade project.
And to be honest, he does not have what it takes to carry a TV show.
Wesley snipes is yesterday and even then he was mediocre at best.

I really like the first two Blade movies and he did a really good job of playing the character. But I really don't wan't him to come back either. He is definitely too old. Personally I even thought he was a little too old in the first movie. I would much rather see Netflix reboot it with a younger Blade.
