From The Duellists to The Last Duel?
Sir Ridley started his feature films with The Duellists (1977). Will The Last Duel be his last movie?
sharePossibly, it would be fitting to retire with The Duellists his first film and Last Duel his final film, but there's rumour of Gladiator 2, another Alien film and a thriller, he was also associated to a Battle of Britain film but is no longer listed as Director to that.

Too bad, I was very interested in this film. Ridley hasn't done yet a WW2 movie and I hoped this would be his first. He has done so many historical epics. I would have rather seen a WW2 movie than Gladiator 2.
Me too, but I wonder if such a big project would be to much for him at his age.
I did a quick search and couldn’t find any trace of the film over on IMDb, perhaps it got renamed with a new director.
