Do you think he's underrated?

I think he's a really good actor and I hope he gets more lead roles.

I do. He is such a big name on Broadway, yet he really doesn't get many big roles from Hollywood. He is a brilliant actor, and I still hold out hope that he'll land that one role that will get him some real attention.

"Tessie" is the tune they always sung.

ABSOLUTELY ! but I also have faith.
Knowing what one wants makes this question difficult.
Maybe he doesn't want "Naomi" attention. Maybe he does.
Who knows? Liev.

I don't think he's underrated. He's just not in the limelight. Some actors choose that--they pick their roles carefully and are more about the "art" than the notoriety. I think that might be what Liev is.

I saw him in the manchurian candidate remake and he was absolutely fantastic. I figured he would be in more films but alas...still upcoming films look great!
oh and his CSI role, brilliant.

[JUST SAW THE NOTES ON THIS] I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE SAID. HE IS MULTI-TALENTED, WITH OBVIOUS INTERESTS IN A NUMBER OF AREAS OF THE THEATRE/FILM/TV INDUSTRY. HIS SMALLER PARTS STAY IN YOUR MIND FOR REST OF THE PIECE. HIS MAIN ROLES HAVE BEEN VARIED AND STRONG. WISH I COULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY OF SEEING HIM ON STAGE. HE IS WHAT I CALL A "REAL-DEAL" (BONA FIDE) ACTOR'S ACTOR.

He stole the show in Wolverine. It wasn't enough to save that disaster of a movie though, but still.

reply

...those of us living in far flung places don't really get the opportunity to see him no stage, so we whine about the movies.

Someone mentioned a few posts back that he's "overrated". To which I say, "what?" "where??".
