Usually actor idiots are such talking nonsense about stripping more of our rights away through buzz words like gun safety and common sense legislation. A dumb thing to say.
People who own guns want to take responsibility for their own self defense, or enjoy hunting or target shooting. If used as directed, no one except criminals will ever suffer from a gun. The same can be said for swimming pools, snowmobiles, cars, jet skis, power tools etc.
The same cannot be said for tobacco, which if used as directed will probably sicken or kill you or someone living with you.
